Connect time out while connecting to 144.76.105.244

We are using AIS Dispatcher 1.4 to transfer AIS data. But recently, it always automatically disconnect to data.aishub.net(144.76.105.244:4101). And, sometimes the connection simply revive by itself. Do anyone ever encounter this issue before?




I have ping data.aishub.net(144.76.105.244), and it has a response.



Anyone can help?

Aaron,

 It could be a simple matter of something interrupting the TCP feed and causing it to fail. AISDispatcher will continue to attempt to connect until you tell it not to.

I get occasions where something kills my feed (router renewing IP, cable unplugged, DSL signal dropped, etc) and AISDispatcher starts attempting to reconnect. As the AISHUB server only allows 1 connection per user at a time, if the feed is improperly stopped, the server doesn't close its port properly, and therefore you cannot connect. Usually takes about 20 minutes or so for the server to close the now inactive port so you can reconnect and be on your merry way receiving data. AISDispatcher usually keeps trying once a minute or so until a reconnect occurs. YMMV.
