VT explorer and static IP address
« on: 09 August, 2011, 01:02:24 am »
Hello,
I am new in AIS area and I just started the preliminary tests of a brand new ground station.
Right now I am sending my data to marinetraffic.com so I cant still send them to the AIShub where I recently enrolled to. However, I do not run a website and my IP address changes echtime I boot my modem.
Would it be possible to use DynDNS services to avoide fixed IP address ? DynDNS offers free host names.
Thanks and regards, Jacques

You don't need static IP address to send data to us. You can use dyndns to receive data from our server but first you need to fill the subscription form (http://www.aishub.net/subscription-form.html) and after we receive your data we will create your AISHub account.

Hello,
for the second time I filled the enrollement form... After submitting, I was back to the ohme panel, without acknoledgement or error message. I hope it is OK this time. Let me know if it did not work and tell me what I did wrong.
Regards, Jacques
